Terms and Conditions of Pury End

Please make sure you have checked and agree to our terms and conditions. By proceeding with your booking, the owner of the cat is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

1. When making a booking the owner/s of the animal must provide their full details. This includes full name, address and contact information, the animal’s full details and emergency contact information.

2. Payment terms: 50% deposit payable for all new customers, with balance of payment due 48hrs prior to boarding if paying via bank transfer, or on the day of drop-off if paying with cash.

3. If your cat’s boarding period includes any Bank Holiday, a £5.00 surcharge per Bank Holiday will be included.

4. We are able to administer your cat’s medication providing your cat is willing and compliant, however if your cat requires time-sensitive medication [i.e., diabetes], there will be an additional £5.00 per day charge.

5. All cats must have an up-to-date veterinary certificate of vaccination for inspection at the time of admission to the cattery. Vaccinations for feline infectious enteritis and upper respiratory tract infections must be completed at least four weeks prior to boarding. Additionally, prescribed veterinary approved worming and flea treatments must be completed seven days before boarding.

6. All viewings/arrivals/departures are strictly by appointment only. If you are unable to attend at an agreed appointment time, Pury End Cattery should be contacted at the earliest opportunity.

7. Whilst we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety and well-being of your cat while in our care, all cats boarding at Pury End do so at the risk of the owner. Pury End Cattery accepts no liability for cat loss, illness, or death. We advise that all cats are covered by appropriate insurance (that includes adequate veterinary cover).

8. All cats must be in a fit, sound condition when entering Pury End Cattery. In the event of your cat falling ill during boarding we reserve the right to call our appointed veterinary surgeon, with all costs borne by the cat/s owner and NOT Pury End Cattery. It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds to cover this. We reserve the right to refuse any cat which we feel is not suitable for boarding.

9. Any cat/s showing signs of any contagious disease will be turned away pending veterinary advice.

10. Should any cat/s be found showing evidence of fleas or other parasites, the person collecting the cat will be liable for all costs of treating the animal/s and the surrounding environment if considered necessary.

11. Beds, toys etc can accompany your pet as long as they are in a clean and safe condition, please note we do not allow wicker or wooden beds for hygiene reasons.

12. For all bookings in December, customers are required to pay for their booking in full by 1st November.

13. Days of arrival and departure are charged as full days of boarding.

14. In the event of any cancellation or change in holiday dates, Pury End will ask for 28 days notice, otherwise the full amount remains payable – this is because other bookings may have been turned away to accommodate your cat.

15. Refunds cannot be made for early returns. 28 days notice must be given of any alterations to dates in or out and a surcharge of £5.00 per alteration may be applied.

16. If your cat/s is not collected within 7 days of the date of departure and no communication is received from the owner/contact person, we will assume that your cat has been abandoned. The management reserves the right to re-home, sell or otherwise dispose of the animal at their discretion. in this case Pury End Cattery will be entitled to recover all associated costs, losses and charges.

17. Payment is by bank transfer or cash only.

18. Where two or more cats from the same family are sharing, and we deem the arrangement to be unsafe, we reserve the right to separate them into individual chalets and the additional costs to be recovered from the owner.

14. Cats from the same family may share a chalet at the owners request and consent by signing the booking form.

15. I/We agree to all GDPR policies and consent for data to be held by Pury End Cattery.
